Erectile Dysfunction

Understanding what's really behind your symptoms

Erectile dysfunction is common, and experiencing it does not mean that something is fundamentally wrong with you.

An erection depends on a complex interaction between blood vessels, nerves, hormones, medications, physical health, psychological wellbeing, and sexual stimulation. Difficulties in any of these areas can affect erectile function.

Dr. Evans' approach begins with understanding what has changed and why. Your consultation may include a detailed medical and sexual history, medication review, physical examination where appropriate, and investigations when clinically indicated.

Treatment is tailored to the underlying cause and may include lifestyle changes, oral medications, management of contributing medical conditions, psychological or relationship support, vacuum erection devices, injectable therapies, or surgical options in selected circumstances.

The goal is not simply to prescribe a treatment. It is to understand the problem and work with you toward a solution.
